The latter is achieved through intensive training programs on environmental aspects related to company's activities, at the workers' and neighboring community's level.

TEBSA'S strict monitoring program enables the company to guarantee a low environmental impact on air and water, as part of the power generation process. Constant monitoring and assessments provide us with timely warning on the trend of the different factors that can influence the environment so as to put in place corrective, compensatory and protective actions with respect to potential adverse effects.

The monitoring conducted throughout the year indicates that TEBSA has always shown levels below the maximum levels set by the Colombian legislation.
